Stolen Pokémon. Collecting since 2016.
From buying and selling a few cards to a business with 15 offices in 15 countries. Our story began with Pokémon, and it still comes back to the next card someone falls in love with.
- The beginning, Japan 2016
Stolen Pokémon started in Japan in 2016, buying and selling on a small scale. Before the wider business, there were individual cards, conversations with buyers and the simple pleasure of finding something another collector had been looking for.
That beginning is still part of how we think about collecting. A card can be a childhood memory, the missing piece of a set or the start of an entirely new collection. The reason for wanting it is personal, and that matters as much as the price.
- From small beginnings to 15 offices in 15 countries
What started small in Japan grew into a global business with 15 offices in 15 countries: Japan, South Korea, China, Singapore, Australia, United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Switzerland, Sweden, United Arab Emirates, Nigeria and South Africa.
Our headquarters and main vault are in Tokyo, Japan, in the Tokyo Bay logistics district where many international companies keep their warehouses. From there and our other offices, prestige cards ship to collectors worldwide the same day they pay.
- Visiting our vault in Japan
Collectors are welcome to visit our main vault in Japan and choose cards in person. Because the vault has been the target of more than 30 attempted break-ins since it opened, visits are arranged by appointment only. Before a visit is confirmed, we ask for a minimum of 30 days of conversation with our Japan manager, including two phone calls and one video call over Zoom. This lets us welcome serious collectors safely.
Everyone is welcome, regardless of ethnicity, gender or age. Visitors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. To start the conversation, write to hello@stolenpokemon.com.

You do not need to call yourself a serious collector to belong here. You might be discovering Pokémon for the first time, returning to the cards you grew up with, completing a favourite set or searching for a particular graded copy. All collectors are welcome.
Our current catalogue focuses on graded cards across several price ranges. That is what we offer, not a definition of who collecting is for. Curiosity, nostalgia and the joy of finding a favourite Pokémon are welcome at every stage.
